Venice: A Trip to Venice

Venice is a city in Italy; Venice consists of a group of 118 small islands; the islands are separated by canals and linked by bridges. Among of tourist

The among of tourist between November and January are low; yearly there are approximately 20 million tourist in Venice; it is around 60.000 visitors a day.

The city is entered by 100 Cruise-liners each year; in the population, there has been resistance to the large number of Cruise-liners. 

The big among of Cruise-liners have created anger among part of the population in Venice. They even tried to stop a Cruise-liner from entering Venice; their arguments were that the city is made for condoles and not Cruise-liners.
